In the 157-weight class, Nicolosi posted a 4-1 record including four-straight victories to reach the finals at the Georgia Open on Sunday. He delivered a quick 58-second pin over Isaiah Castro of Emmanuel in the first round before battling to a 10-6 decision versus Riley Brewer of Andrew. Nicolosi followed up with a 10-4 win over Sammy Gerard of Lander and registered a win via fall in the semifinals of AuShaud Evans of Reinhardt. He ultimately was pinned in the championship match by Hayden Watson of The Citadel.
