Imbimbo pitched seven innings on 88 pitches and tallied six strikeouts and zero walks while facing the minimum 21 batters in an 11-0 win over No. 21 ranked UNC Pembroke in Game 2 on Thursday night. Making the transition to starter this season, Imbimbo holds an impressive 5-0 record with 32 strikeouts and 14 walks over 37.1 innings pitched. He has held his opponents to a .189 batting average this season, which leads Conference Carolinas this season.
