High School
A four-year varsity member of her school field hockey team, Woods earned second-team All-Region honors her freshman through junior year of high school. In her final year, she earned first-team All-Region and first-team All-State honors. During Wood's time at Poquoson High School, she contributed to two District Championships, three Region A Championships, and a  State Championship. 

Woods was also a member of her school's National Honor Society and clubs while volunteering in her church's ministry.
