Barrett holds the school records for the most save as a goal keeper. During her junior year of school, Barrett won the Regional and State Championships and earned second-team all district and region honors. She also was a member of her schools lacrosse team. 

Barrett also studied ASL (American Sign Language) and was an avid volunteer in her community.
