Hall Finishes Fourth to Lead Trojans to a Fourth-Place Finish at the Wilmington Beach Blast

RESULTS

WILMINGTON - The University of Mount Olive men's cross country team finished fourth at the Wilmington Beach Blast hosted by UNC-Wilmington behind three top-15 finishes, led by Evan Hall, who finished fourth.

Hall clocked in a 16:11.80 in the 5K, only four seconds within the third place finisher.

In 12th and 14th respectively, to round out the top-15 finishers was Artem Meeltasiev (16:46.81) and Leo Powell (16:52.36).

Ayden Thompson (17:39.97)) and Titus Tanui (17:40.39) rounded out the 32nd and 33rd spots for the final fourth and fifth team scores for the Trojans.

Spencer Rundell took 37th (17:49.18), in 43rd was Josh Hendren (18:14.59), and Cullen Pfanmiller at 49th (18:58.16).

Benjamin Bailey (57th, 19:34.80), Devon Coughlin (59th, 19:42.26), Trevor Greenier (64th, 21:07.61), and Adam Hill (67th, 22:53.33) rounded out the rest of the pack for the Trojans.

The next meet is at the Pfeiffer Invitational in Misenheimer, NC on Sept. 12 in Misenhelmer, NC.
