GREENVILLE, S.C. (Aug. 27) – The University of Mount Olive men's cross country program placed eighth in the Conference Carolina's preseason poll, announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.
The Trojans turn to their returners:
Evan Hall,
Josh Hendren, and
Ayden Thompson, to bring experience to this year's team as they look to capture the 2025 Conference Carolina's Cross Country Championship title.
UNC Pembroke was voted unanimous preseason favorites after receiving all 15 first-place votes. Converse, Lees-McRae, Belmont Abbey, and Southern Wesleyan make up the rest of the top five teams.
The Conference Carolina's Cross Country Championships will be held on Oct. 24 at the Ivey Redmon Course in Kernersville, North Carolina.
The Trojans start the season on Sept. 6 at the Wilmington Beach Blast hosted by UNC Wilmington.
