11-STRAIGHT! UMO captures Conference Championship

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (April 26) – After setting three meet records and crowning six individual league champions, the University of Mount Olive men's track & field program earned an impressive 11th-straight Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championship while competing at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.

Team Standings: Mount Olive (1st,193 points), Converse (2nd, 147 points), UNC Pembroke (3rd, 132 points)

DYNASTY CONTINUES:
  • The Trojans scored 135 points on the final day of the league meet while scoring in 15 of a possible 21 events to finish first overall with 193 points.
  • Head Coach Earl Graves was named the Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year for a fifth consecutive year.
