Jaevian Alston has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Freshman of the Month for November, the league announced Wednesday.
Alston delivered an impressive opening month to his collegiate career, averaging 11.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 45.5 percent from the field. He recorded three double-digit scoring performances in November, showcasing his consistency on both ends of the floor.
His breakout stretch included:
- Nov. 15 vs. Wingate: 13 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals, 4-of-9 shooting, and a perfect 4-of-4 at the free-throw line.
- Nov. 17 at Shaw: 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting, seven rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
- Nov. 21 vs. Middle Georgia: 14 points, seven rebounds, and one assist while shooting 6-of-12 from the floor.
Alston's early impact has helped energize the Trojans' lineup, establishing him as one of the league's top young talents heading into December.
