TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's volleyball team swept North Greenville on the road Friday night, extending their win streak to two matches.

With the victory, the Trojans moved to 7-11 overall and 5-5 in conference play, climbing to second in the East Division. The Trailblazers dropped to 8-9 overall and 6-5 in the Northwest Division.

The opening set was the most competitive, with UMO edging out a 26-24 win. Sets two and three were all Trojans, as North Greenville failed to reach 20 points in either frame.

In the first set, both teams traded points until UMO closed on a 6-1 run led by kills from Breanna Tanton, Olivia Melvin, and Rachel Clark, who also added a solo block.

A 5-0 surge in set two, sparked by Breanna Reisinger, pushed UMO ahead 14-10. Tanton followed with two service aces, while Kacey Gore and Clark each added kills. The Trojans held control the rest of the way to win 25-18.

Reisinger, Lindsay Reid, Danielle Parker, and Ashlyn Haynie helped power a late 7-2 run to seal the second set.

In set three, the Trojans jumped out to a 15-5 lead behind a dominant 10-1 run and never looked back, closing out the match 25-18 for the sweep.

Reisinger and Melvin each posted eight kills, while Reid and Tanton shared the team lead with 15 assists apiece. Kaitlyn Landis (13) and Gore (21) recorded double-digit digs.

Mount Olive continues its road trip Saturday at Southern Wesleyan, with first serve set for 2 p.m.
