GREENSBORO, N.C. (June 10) – University of Mount Olive redshirt senior Erik Johnson collected his third straight all-region accolade after being named ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II Second-Team Southeast All-Region, as voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

Johnson became a consensus all-region selection after earning the honor from all three major organizations this season. He garnered All-Conference Carolinas First-Team status in 2024 while also being selected to the All-Defensive Team as a pitcher.

On the mound, Johnson held a 7-3 record while ranking among the top 10 in NCAA Division II with five complete-game performances. In 14 starts, he ranked third in the Conference Carolinas with a 1.09 WHIP and 5.06 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Additionally, Johnson finished fifth in the conference with a 3.35 ERA and 91 strikeouts after tossing 83.1 innings while holding opponents to .232 batting average.
