Trojans face top-two ranked teams in consecutive days; Bos scores her second goal of the year

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 10) – Facing the reigning NCAA Division II National Champions, the Trojans suffered a 4-1 defeat at No. 1 ranked Shippensburg in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, the University of Mount Olive field hockey team fell to 0-3 this season after facing the top-two ranked programs in the nation on back-to-back days. Just over a minute later, the Trojans got on the board after Bos put one past the Shippensburg keeper, her second goal of the season, to trim the deficit to 3-1 in the second.
