Florence, S.C. - The University of Mount Olive baseball team fell to Francis Marion 6-3 in the series opener Friday night. UMO moves to 20-14.

GAME INFORMATION
Francis Marion took the thunder early on scratching three runs in the first. Mount Olive did not find a run until the fifth trailing 5-1. 

The Patriots went onto add one more run in the bottom of the fifth and held off the Trojans, allowing single runs in the sixth and seventh, to take the win 6-3.

The Trojans will complete the three-game conference series against Francis Marion tomorrow in Florence, S.C.
