Tigerville, S.C. - The Trojans of the University of Mount Olive's women's lacrosse team took a 20-9 victory over North Greenville University Thursday afternoon in the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Championship in Tigerville, S.C. The Trojans move onto the championship final where they will look to repeat as the conference champion for the first time in program history.
INSIDE THE SCORE
The Trojans in the opening quarter despite taking the first lead saw that margin drop as NGU took a 2-1 lead with 8:02 in the first. UMO however ended the first with three scores and took a 4-2 lead heading into the second.
Mount Olive in the second finally added some pressure scoring eight goals, with four different Trojans scoring in the quarter, as the took a 12-4 lead into the half.
The second half was still all Trojans as Mount Olive outscored the Crusaders 8-to-5 and crusied to a 20-9 win in the semifinals.

Mount Olive returns to the Conference Carolinas Championship final to take on Belmont Abbey on April 30 at 1 p.m. The Trojans won the regular-season match against BAC 16-9.
