WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive men's and women's track and field competed at Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, SC this past weekend. The Trojans saw eight changes in the UMO top-10 and five NCAA Provisional qualifying mark.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
On the men's side Justen Burnette finished 1st in his event running a 10.42 100 meter. Burnette is also leading the national in the 100 meter dash based on his time this weekend. Jon Wojcuich also had a good day in the field events placing 2nd in the hammer throw while setting a new school, conference record, and throwing an NCAA Provisional qualifying mark of 60.73m. Wojcuich is also leading the national in the Men's hammer throw.

On the women's side, Candice Lockett has a good weekend in the field events winning her event with throw and NCAA Provisional qualifying mark in the women's hammer throw. Laila Abouzaid also had a good day on the track and she puts herself in the UMO top-10 in the 10000 meter run with a time of 39:51.45.
