BELMONT, North Carolina/TIGERVILLE, South Carolina- The University of Mount Olive men's volleyball team went 1-1 on the weekend, dropping to the Crusaders of North Greenville University, and taking down the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey. UMO is now 3-3 overall and 1-1 in conference. 

GAME INFORMATION

On Friday the Trojans fell to North Greenville 3-2. The Trojans started out strong with a 4-1 lead. The two Conference Carolinas teams were back and fourth until the Trojans took a crucial five point run to close out the first set 25-22. 
Set two saw a two-point Crusader lead 3-1. Mount Olive tied the contest at four before North Greenville took a 10-7 lead. UMO could not find their momentum as the Crusaders took set two 25-22. 
The Trojans came out strong in set three earning a 4-1 lead. The Crusaders were battling to stay within two of the Trojans until UMO found there rhythm and increase their lead to five 12-7. A crucial three-point Trojan run brought them up by seven 16-9. Mount Olive remained in control and close out set three 25-19.
Set four saw another two-point Trojan lead 4-2. The Crusaders took a three-point run to take the lead 7-6. Mount Olive Answered back, tying the set at 12. The two Conference Carolinas teams were back and fourth until NGU took the last three out of four points to take set 4 26-24. 
The Trojans jumped out to an early 6-3 lead. The Crusader offense ties the set at eight before the Trojans took a two point run 10-8. UMO could not find an answer for the Crusaders as North Greenville took set five and the match 15-12. 

On Saturday the Trojans defeated the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey 3-1. The two Conference Carolinas teams exchanged the lead until UMO took a dominating six point lead 13-7. The Crusaders did not have an answer for the Trojans. Mount Olive took set one 25-18. 
An early 5-2 Trojan lead opened up set two of the Contest. They were back and fourth until Belmont Abbey took a three-point run to tie the contest at eight. A crucial four-point Trojan run earned UMO a 19-16 lead. The Crusaders answered back with a five point run to take the lead 23-22. They were back and fourth until Belmont Abbey took the last two points 28-26. 
Set three saw an early 5-0 lead over the Trojans. Down by two 9-7 UMO took a seven-point run to take the 13-9 lead. With the momentum the Trojans took set three 25-19. 
The fourth and final set saw the teams going back and fourth until the Trojans took a four point run 12-9. Another Trojan run gave UMO match point 24-13. Belmont Abbey could not answer the Trojans as Mount Olive took set four and the match 25-14.
