Mount Olive, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's soccer team took a 3-0 victory over Conference Carolinas foe King University, Saturday afternoon in Bristol, Tenn.

Mount Olive (5-0-1, 2-0-0) grabbed the momentum in record fashion as Jasmine Pinter scored in the first 14 seconds, placing her as one of the fastest Trojans to score a goal. Twenty minutes later UMO added their second score off the boot of Nya Baccelli. No threat from King came to pass and the Trojans led 2-0 into the break.
In the second the Mount Olive offense cooled off until, in the 70th minute, Ashley Lindsey scored her first goal of the season, extending the lead to 3-0. The Trojan defense kept the Tornado locked down without allowing a shot for the remainder of the game and took the 3-0 win home.
