GOLDSBORO, N.C.– The University of Mount Olive women's soccer team took down the Tornado of King University 4-1 in Conference Carolinas action Monday afternoon in Goldsboro, N.C.
Game Information
Mount Olive took the momentum from the very beginning scoring the opening goal 14:56 into the first half when Jaelyn Brown scored. King found a response in the 19th minute to knot the match at one. Sara Berglund added a second goal for UMO to put Mount Olive back in front 2-1. Jaeyln Brown scored her second goal in the 37th minute to round out the scoring going into halftime, as UMO took a 3-1 advantage into the break.
The Trojans added one more goal in the second half from Samantha Hamrick assisted by Makenna Copley and Mount Olive took the 4-1 win.

Mount Olive was led by Jaelyn Brown who had two of UMO's four goals on the day.
Tornado Leaders
King was led by Mackenzie Winters who had the only goal for the Tornado.

Mount Olive will hit the road as they travel to Central, S.C. to play against the Southern Wesleyan University on February 28 at 1 p.m.
