BRISTOL, Tenn - The University of Mount Olive men's volleyball team defeated the Tornado of King University 3-0 on Friday night on the road.

GAME INFORMATION
Mount Olive lost the opening point but worked out to an 6-5 lead. The game stayed close during the early onset until UMO took 5-0 run and moved out to a 17-12 lead. The Trojans' kept their five-point lead for the remainder of the set and took the opener 25-18.

The second set two saw the Trojans jump out to a 10-3 lead after winning the opening point. Following both team exchanging points, UMO responded with a 4-0 run to take a 16-7 run. After a second 4-0 run the Trojans led 21-9 and cruised to a 25-13 set two win.

The final set had the Trojans lose the first point of the set but ultimately take the momentum with a 14-7 lead. After the Tornado took the next two points UMO answered with the following six points and held firm control leading 20-9. King fought to score seven more points in the set but could not force a fourth set and fell 25-16 and UMO won in straight sets.

Trojan Leaders
The Trojans were led by Tobi Azeez with 10 kills in the match. Jarrod Ferguson led the defense with 10 digs.

King Leaders
The Tornado were led by Diego Marcano with 12 kills.

Key Moment
The key moment came in the final set when the Trojans took a 20-9 lead cruising to the straight set victory.
