MOUNT OLIVE, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive men's basketball team defeated the Flying Fleet of Erskine College 76-57 on Saturday. This win takes the Trojans to 4-4 overall and 3-1 in Conference.
INSIDE THE SCORE
Erskine took the first point to open the contest, and took control with 19:40 left in the half. Midway through the half, UMO had a nine-point lead 12-3. After one lead change, UMO went into halftime with a four-point lead, 30-26.
The second half saw the Trojans score the first two points with free throws from Alan Treakle 32-26 with 19:19 remaining. UMO increased their lead to 21, 47-26 with 15:11 remaining. The Flying Fleet could not come within 12 of UMO for the remainder of the Contest. The Trojans took home the 19 point victory 76-57.
MOUNT OLIVE LEADERS
Alan Treakle and Javian Cannady led the Trojans with 15 points, while Matthias Caver took home 11 rebounds.
FLYING FLEET LEADERS
The Flying Fleet were led by Jaylen Prioleau with 13 points.

The Trojans capitalized on points in the paint as they had 44 while the Flying Fleet had 24.
