COACHES COMMENTS
"I was extremely pleased with our effort and competitiveness tonight against a tough and talented UNC-W team, who also had great size and depth. We had several segments that we played very well together on the offensive end and moved the ball to find the open look. Overall, I was very pleased with our defensive effort which was solid and consistent for extended sections of the game. And, we really had to stay resilient and find ways to play through injuries and foul problems which caused us to play with limited personnel tonight. I am encouraged with our team's mindset and focus and feel that we will continue to grow and improve as a unit. These last two exhibition games have really helped us become more aware of our strengths and deficiencies, and we are definitely motivated as well as excited about our season ahead."
Head Coach Wendy Lee.
