Spartanburg, S.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's soccer team defeated Converse University 2-0 in Conference Carolinas action, Saturday afternoon in Spartanburg, S.C.

Mount Olive (12-0-2, 9-0-1) opened the scoring in the 6th minute of the match as Olivia Womack connected on a shot into the back of the net, with Ashley Kerekes assisting in the score.
Converse (3-10-2, 3-7-0) surrendered the second goal of the game in the 40th minute when Emma Campbell found Nya Baccelli for her seventh goal of the season.
UMO, despite being a man down for the second half, allowed only one shot for the remainder of the contest and secured their 2-0 victory.
