Box Score Pembroke, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's soccer team defeated UNC Pembroke 2-1 in Conference Carolinas action, Wednesday afternoon in Pembroke, N.C. The win took down the only other undefeated team in the conference standings as UMO sits atop the conference.

Mount Olive (13-0-2, 10-0-1) opened the scoring in the 18th minute of the match as Delia Allwood collected a blocked pass and dribbled past the UNCP back line.
UNC Pembroke (12-4-0, 10-1-0) surrendered the second goal of the game in the 43rd minute when Tianna Hill found Jasmine Pinter for her fifth goal of the season.
UMO held the Braves off the boards until the 77th minute, when Alexis Pittman scored. UNCP sent home six more shots, however the Trojan defense held the tying goal off and too the 2-1 victory.
