Mount Olive, N.C. --- The UMO Men's Soccer (9-4-0, 7-1-0) was unable to comeback against Lees-McRae College (7-4-1, 5-2-0) 2-1 in Conference Carolinas action Saturday afternoon at Amon Field. It was also senior day for
Hector Cabrera Viveros,
Mustafa Nadeem,
Nickolai Clarke,
Rio Mello,
Alfie Pope,
Francisco Macedo,
Benjamyn Elliott, and
Ethan Bunting, as they were honored prior to the match.
INSIDE THE SCORE:
The opening period was a defensive battle as both squads only managed one shot each and went into halftime scoreless.
In the second, it was the Bobcats of Lees-McRae who struck first in the 53rd minute after a lap of judgement from the Trojans keeper. Moments later LMC blasted their second score of the game after a second defensive miscue in the 60th minute.
Down 2-0, Mount Olive found the back of the net in the 73rd when Guilherme Siqueira beat the Bobcats keeper.
Following the Trojan goal a member of the LMC squad was sent off forcing the Bobcats to play a man down for the remainder of the match. Mount Olive had five more chances to find the equalizer but we unable and fell 2-1.

Glen Hernandez led the Trojans with four shots, one on goal.
Lees-McRae Leaders:
The Bobcats were led by Tamino Brown who scored the second goal and had four shots, all on frame.
