GAME RUNDOWN

• Mount Olive came out attacking as Jose Lopez doubled to left center to score UMO's first run as Trae Sweeting came around from first to score after reaching first via a hit by pitch.
• Drew Ellis followed suit by smacking a double as well and Lopez came in to score and the Trojans led 2-0.
• Following a strikeout, Nate Estes drove in the final run of the inning with an RBI-single up the middle to give Mount Olive a three-run cushion.
• Ellis came up big for UMO again in the fifth as he launched a three-run home run to double the lead for the Trojans heading into the sixth.
• Chowan struck for single runs in the sixth, eight, and ninth, but the Trojans held off any chance of a comeback and took home the 6-3 win.
