Mount Olive had its three-match winning streak come to an end as the Trojans fell to nationally 49th-ranked Wingate 7-2 in non-conference women's tennis Sunday at Wingate, N.C. Francesca Ceppi and Roxanne Chouinard posted straight-set singles wins for the Trojans.

The loss drops Mount Olive's record to 9-6. Wingate improves to 15-5.

The Trojans wrap up regular season play this week with a pair of Conference Carolinas matches on the road. Mount Olive is at Coker Thursday and at Limestone Sunday. The 2013 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Tournament takes place April 19-21 at Sumter, S.C.
