Greenwood, SC – Tuesday afternoon saw Emma King be selected as the Conference Carolinas' Player of the week after one of the most impressive showings for the Trojans this season in the batter's box. 
The Dillon, SC native was able to mount a .667 batting average with 14 hits, driving in eight runs and crossing the plate five times for the Trojans this week with one home run and a double to cap it off.  In the doubleheader against Ferrum, she recorded six hits out of seven appearances at the plate with two runs. 
She is currently second in the entire conference for batting percentage on the season, boasting a .481 average and being the top of the conference in hits with 37.   
The Trojans face Catawba today and look forward to competing against Chowan Saturday, with games beginning at 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
