Greenwood, SC – Samantha Taylor was selected as your Conference Carolinas' Player of the Week after helping the Trojans win five of their last six games, each against conference opponents. 

The senior from Winterville, NC, continued to dominate in the batter's box as she batted .455 with 10 hits.  She brought 13 runs across the plate and scored 8 by herself.  Absolutely crushing the ball, she sent 5 pitches over the fence across the week, which boosted her to being ranked 22^nd in the nation for home runs this season.  She also ranked 2^nd in the conference for OPS, bringing in an astounding 1.229. 

The Trojans return against Ferrum on Wednesday, travelling to Ferrum, VA, with games beginning at 3:00 and 5:00 PM.
