Mount Olive Extends Winning Streak to Seven, Remains Perfect in Conference Play

TIGERVILLE, S.C. - The University of Mount Olive men's volleyball continued their dominant run on Thursday night, securing their seventh consecutive victory with a 3–1 road win over North Greenville at Hayes Gymnasium. With the win, Mount Olive improves to 8–3 overall and remains perfect in Conference Carolinas play at 5–0, firmly positioning themselves near the top of the league standings.

The Trojans responded well after dropping the opening set, bouncing back to take the final three frames
25–17, 25–18, and 25–22. Mount Olive found its rhythm offensively as the match progressed, posting its best attacking efficiency in sets two and three while applying steady pressure at the service line and the net.

Kory Grant led all Trojans with 19 kills, adding key points in transition as Mount Olive seized momentum. Brooks Ignosci contributed 11 kills, while Christos Savvidis and Maksim Kazanov combined for 13 kills and five total blocks, helping slow North Greenville's attack.

Setter
Jackson Lahey directed the offense with 42 assists, spreading the ball effectively across the front row. Defensively, Mount Olive recorded 12 total blocks and 53 digs, with Luca Colombo (12) and Grant (11) each with double-digit dig performances.
The Trojans' balanced performance on the road underscores their consistency as conference play continues, with Mount Olive now carrying both momentum and confidence deeper into the season.

Mount Olive will look to keep its momentum rolling with a
Saturday afternoon road match against Belmont Abbey, as the Trojans continue Conference Carolinas play.
