NEWBERRY, SC – The University of Mount Olive women's wrestling program earned a pair of dominant victories on Tuesday, defeating Emory & Henry, 38-11, before securing a 39-10 win over Newberry.
Mount Olive opened the tri-dual with four straight victories. Lilian Prendergast (103),
Aspen Cook (110), and
Ahriana Scales (117) each earned wins by forfeit before Ayonna McNeil recorded a first-period fall at 124 pounds.
Kalyse Hill followed with a technical fall at 131 pounds before
Bella Murillo secured a fall in just 38 seconds at 138. Emory & Henry picked up points at 145 and 207, but the Trojans answered with
Elaina Pollock's technical fall at 160 and a forfeit victory for
Journey Land at 180.
