The Division II Baseball Championship finals have been hosted in Cary for 14 of the past 15 events. The NCAA officially announced a long-term extension in early December for the NCAA Division II Baseball National Championship to remain at the USA National Training Complex in Cary, NC, through 2038. It is believed to be just the fourth-ever long-term contract in Division II. The new agreement ensures Mount Olive and Cary will become the longest-hosting partnership in NCAA Division II baseball history.
