Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, FL (March 11) – Facing two nationally ranked doubles teams and one nationally ranked singles player, the University of Mount Olive men's tennis team lost 7-0 against No. 17 Embry-Riddle on Tuesday morning at Ambassador E. William Crotty Tennis Complex.
With the loss, the Trojans fall to 2-5 this season with one more non-conference match scheduled tomorrow on their Florida trip before starting conference play this Friday, March 14, versus Chowan. Meanwhile, Embry-Riddle improves to 8-2 overall with a three-match winning streak.

Embry-Riddle sealed the match win after taking all six of the singles contests in the session. Gruenefeldt dropped a 1-6, 3-6 decision to No. 70 nationally-ranked Igbinovia in the first position, while Hagglund fell with a 5-7, 4-6 margin to Nuyts in the second slot. In third singles, freshman
