GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 11) – After totaling four multi-hit games, University of Mount Olive junior
Kayden Crawford was named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Week by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Crawford posted a .526 batting average (10-for-19) with two triples, one double, four runs batted in, six runs scored, and four stolen bases last week. He tallied four multi-hit performances at the plate, as the Trojans posted a 5-0 record, including a series sweep over Erskine. On Tuesday, Crawford finished 5-for-8 and drove in one, scored twice, and stole two bases in a doubleheader sweep over Dominican (NY). Over the weekend, he totaled five hits, three runs batted in, two triples, three runs scored, and two stolen bases in a three-game sweep against Erskine.
The Trojans returns to the diamond today, Tuesday, March 11, to face Coker on the road in non-conference play, starting at 4 p.m.
