WILSON, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's soccer team blanked rival Barton 1-0 on Saturday, earning its second straight win.

Goalkeeper Anais Coyne tallied her second shutout of the season, making five saves on 13 shots. She has now gone back-to-back games without allowing a goal.

Sierra Criner scored the game's lone goal at the 50:49 mark off a perfectly placed corner kick from Izzi Lugo. Criner has been a key spark off the bench, scoring in consecutive matches.

The Trojans return home Wednesday at 7 p.m. to face Chowan at Amon Field.
