Player & Coach Comments
"It is hard to put into words how proud I am of this group for what we have achieved this year. Through all of the adversity that some of our played faced individually in their personal lives, and what we faced as a team, we always found a way to get through it together. We would certainly not have been able to achieve such a historic season so far without the core leadership that we have. This showed up at the deciding match that Deike Schipper clinched for us. She has been a phenomenal leader on and off the court by not only going undefeated in conference play, but also leading by example every single day. As we set our sights now onto Nationals, we are looking forward to the next challenge ahead," said head coach Carlos Lora.

Mount Olive will make its fourth appearance in the NCAA tournament as they earned the automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Women's Tennis Regional. The complete championship field will be announced on Tuesday, May 3 at 8:30 p.m. at NCAA.com.
