BELMONT, NC - The University of Mount Olive Women's tennis team takes down Belmont Abbey College in a conference matchup Saturday afternoon in Belmont, N.C.

The Trojans swept the doubles play by winning all three match-ups.
UMO then went 3-3 in singles to finish the match with an overall score of 6-1.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
- The Trojans dominated the doubles play winning all three matches to claim the doubles point.
- No. 3 doubles Bipasha Mehn/Jessica Aylward dealt the No. 3 duo from Belmont a 6-2 loss, No. 2 doubles Ingrid Montserrat/Deike Schipper beat the Crusaders 6-3 and No. 1 Liza Voloshyna/Nele Weber won 7-5 against the Crusaders.
- UMO then went into singles play and managed to get three more wins to secure the 4-3 victory.
- Deike Schipper got the singles action started with a quick 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 5 flight.
- Singles flight one and two were won by the Crusaders. Frankee Hendricks defeated Liza Voloshyna 7-5 6-2 and Kayla Vaughan got the win at No. 1 against Ingrid Montserrat 6-4 6-3.
- The even numbers closed out the match as Ece Yuksel won the No. 4 flight 6-4, 6-4, and Bipasha Mehn the No. 6 flight 6-0 6-2..
- The Crusader Elliott Peterson defeated Trojan Nele Weber in flight three 7-5 6-0.
