Charlotte, N.C. - The Trojans of the University of Mount Olive's women's lacrosse team took a 21-6 defeat from the hands of the No. 1 ranked Royals of Queens University Wednesday afternoon in Charlotte. The Trojans move to 11-5 on the season.
INSIDE THE SCORE
The Trojans kept the game square after the first three minutes of play as
Morgan Paige tied the game at one. Queens answered with two more goals before
Bria Hamilton was able to respond and keep the deficit at one, 3-2. Another Royals run ended the first with Queens up 5-2.
Mount Olive was only able to score twice in the second as the Royals added six more goals to lead 11-4 at the half.
The third dealt the same fate for UMO as Queens extended their advantage closing the third with a 17-6 lead.
UMO was unable to make an effort to score in the final quarter and the Royals ended the frame with four more goals and a final 21-6 victory.

Bria Hamilton wih three goals and one assist.
ROYAL LEADERS
Queens was led by Kaitlyn Hardin with five goals and one assist.
