Box Score 2 Mount Olive, NC - The University of Mount Olive Men's and Women's tennis teams beat Francis Marion University 5-2/6-1 in a conference matchup Tuesday afternoon at the Walker Tennis Center. It was also senior day for the Trojans.

The Trojans dominated the doubles play by winning all three match-ups, earning the doubles point.
UMO then went 4-2 in singles to finish the match with an overall score of 5-2.

INSIDE THE RESULTS MEN
- The Trojans dominated the doubles play winning all three matches to claim the doubles point.
- Armando Ferreira and Aditya Balda dealt the No. 1 duo from Francis Marion a 7-6 loss, while No. 2 Adam Ibrahim/Victor Nunez won 6-3, lastly No. 3 Gregory Normand/Elios Briand took down the Patriots duo 7-6.
- The Trojans took their momentum in the singles round as UMO players won four of their singles flights to give UMO the 5-2 victory.
- Normand (6-0,6-0) and Guilherme Zotin (6-5,1-6,6-1) got the singles action started with wins at the No. 6 and No. 3 Flights.
- UMO then slipped at No. 1 and No. 2 singles as FMU trailed 3-2.
- Israel Rojas then won No. 4 singles to put the Trojans comfortably in front.
- The Trojans' Aditya Balda (4-6,7-6,10-8) took the final win at No. 5 and UMO won the match 5-2
INSIDE THE RESULTS WOMEN
- On the women's side UMO dominated the doubles play winning all three matches to claim the doubles point.
- No. 1 Liza Voloshyna/Nele Weber won 6-2. No. 2 doubles Ingrid Montserrat/Deike Schipper won via walkover, and lastly No. 3 Bipasha Mehn/Jessica Alwood took the match 6-4.
- UMO then went into singles play and managed to get five more wins to secure the 6-1 victory.
- Deike Schipper got the first singles point with a quick 6-3, 6-2 win in the No. 5 flight.
- Singles flight one was won by the Patriots as they took the only point of the match.
- UMO then swept flights 4, 2, 3, and 6 and the Trojans took the match 6-1.
