Mount Olive, North Carolina - The Trojans of the University of Mount Olive men's lacrosse team took down Lees-McRae College 17-7 at the Ray McDonald Sr. Sports Complex Saturday. Mount Olive improves to 7-5, 3-1 on the season. It was senior day for the Trojans and Head Coach

Mount Olive came into the first quarter with a bit of a surprise as Lees-McRae took the first goal. Mount Olive tied the match at one following
Brady Laurance's goal with just over four minutes remaining. The Bobcats scored two more goals in the quarter and took a 4- lead into the second.
In the second quarter UMO rolled, taking seven goals to LMC's one and took their first lead of the game 8-4 heading into halftime.
The second half proved to be much of the same as UMO outscored the Bobcats 9-3 taking the 17-7 victory. The win honored two great achievements in senior day for 13 Trojans and Head Coach
Mike Murphy's 100th career win at Mount Olive.
