Tigerville, S.C. - The University of Mount Olive softball team split a doubleheader against North Greenville University; dropping game one 4-0 and winning game two 2-0. UMO now improves to 30-8, 11-3 on the season.
GAME ONE INFORMATION
The opening game was a pitching duel as the two squads combined for three hits through the first 3 1/2 innings.
The Crusader half of the fourth cracked the first blow with two runs coming home off an RBI-double and NGU took the first lead.
They extended the lead in the sixth to 4-0 as they held UMO to just five hits and took the victory.
GAME TWO INFORMATION
In another low hit game the deciding factor came in the fourth when Mount Olive plated two runs on a
Cana Shrock RBI-double and the Trojans took the win allowing only three NGU hits.
TROJAN LEADERS
Shrock led UMO with the only RBI of the game.
Hailey Kessinger (5-0) went the distance allowing three hits and struck out three.

The Trojans remain on the road against Southern Wesleyan April 2 in Central, S.C. at 12/2 p.m. Saturday.
