MOUNT OLIVE, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team fell to Barton College 1-6 Saturday in Mount Olive, N.C.
MATCH INFORMATION
The Bulldogs led the doubles round winning doubles 2 and 3. The Bulldogs then won five singles matches taking the victory 6-1.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
Mount Olive's Armando Ferreira in the No.1 singles match fought hard but fell (6-7, 1-6) for the first singles point. Gregory Normand then fell in the No. 6 singles match (4-6,5-7) for the second singles point. Aditya Balda also battled the Bulldogs but fell short in No. 4 singles (1-6,1-6) for the third singles point. Adam Ibrahim in No. 2 fell to the Bulldogs (4-6, 3-6). Guilherme Zotin got the only singles win (7-5, 7-5) and lastly Israel Rojas fell to the Bulldogs (6-8) in a one set match.
