Mount Olive added six runs in the third and seven in the fourth to secure the win, highlighted by Curcio's second home run of the day and a three-run long ball from Kylie Emanuele.

COACH'S COMMENTS
"It was exciting to get out on the field and start competing again. We have been preparing and think we have a strong foundation to do some great things. Today we came out with a lot of intensity and excitement and did all the little things right. We pitched well, played great defense, ran the bases well and hit the ball exceptionally. This was a great series to build on and continue to improve upon," said Head Coach Mandy Sansbury.

ON DECK
The Trojans remain on the road to take on Fayetteville State University in a doubleheader February 12. First pitch is scheduled for 1 pm.
