MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The No. 13 University of Mount Olive baseball team fell to Lock Haven University 8-4 in non-conference action Sunday afternoon at Scarborough Field. UMO goes to 2-1 overall, while Lock Haven improved to 1-2.

GAME INFORMATION
The Trojans started game one off behind early as day one leader for Lock Haven Jake Mastillo grounded home the game's first run in the opening frame. Mount Olive however countered in the bottom of the first a run to tie the game. Lock Haven's Mastillo stayed hot belting his third long ball of the series in the third regaining the lead for LHU 2-1.

The fourth inning saw the Trojans take their first lead of the game after RBI from Jack Casbarro and David Cucci, and UMO led 4-2. Lock Haven's fifth inning was the deciding blow as the Bald Eagles pushed home five runs to take the lead for good.

UMO was unable to score for the remainder of the contest and fell in the finale 8-4.

TROJAN LEADERS
Casbarro led the team with two RBI on his 1-for-4 day. Erik Johnson (0-1) was pinned with the loss as he went four and two thirds allowing five runs off eight hits and struck out three.

LOCK HAVEN LEADERS 
Mastillo had two RBI including a home run in game one for the Bald Eagles.

KEY STAT
Mount Olive struggled offensively only obtaining two extra base hits for the game.
