UMO began to get their footing, seeing their first scoring opportunity a few minutes later. Both teams struggled to find the net as Chowan had eight shots, to Mount Olive's four. As the game seemed to be over, the Trojans refused to quit and keept the same attacking mentality, earning themselves a penalty kick in the 85th minute.
