MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Trojans returned to action today, hosting Converse College. Mount Olive won the contest, 23-4. This was the second consecutive game Women's Lacrosse has won by at least nineteen goals.
SENIOR DAY
Prior to today's game, ten Trojans were recognized for senior day. Including,

Jackie Kaderabek,
Emily Prentice,
Morgan Nicholson,
Chaija Olsson, and
Ciara Moorman.
Ali Davis could not be in attendance.Â
GAME INFORMATION
The Trojans came out of the box hot. Scoring less than a minute into the game, when
Emily Prentice launched a shot on goal, finding the back of the net and giving the Trojans a 1-0 lead. Just over a minute later
Kiara Burke scored, putting the Trojans up 2-0. After a brief period of strong defensive play, with both teams causing turnovers, the Trojans struck again. This time
Kelly Young fired one past the goaltender, putting the Trojans up 3-0. Four minutes went past before Burke scored her second of the day, followed by
Bria Hamilton scoring thirty seconds later, extending the Trojans lead to 5-0. The Trojans scored eight more times before the Valkyries got their first of the day, making the score 13-1, Trojans. With just over five minutes left to go, the Valkyries scored again, making the score 13-2. The Trojans added two late goals, taking a 15-2 lead into halftime.
The Trojans continued their dominance in the second half with Burke scoring less than a minute into half, extending the Trojans lead, 16-2. The Trojans scored three more times before the Valkyries got their third goal of the day, making the score 19-3. The Trojans responded by scoring four more times, including a goal from
Morgan Nicholson for her first of the day, increasing the Trojans lead to 23-3. The Valkyries added a goal late, but fell to the Trojans, 23-4.
KEY MOMENT
The key moment was the Trojans scoring nine goals in the first fifteen minutes of game action. Making the way for them to cruise to victory, 23-4.Â
TROJANS LEADERS
Kiara Burke had six goals for the Trojans.
Jackie Kaderabek had six assists, and added a goal to finish with seven points.Â
VALKYRIES LEADERS
Elizabeth Stevens scored twice on the day.
