GREENVILLE, S.C. - Conference Carolinas revealed its Softball's All-Conference Team, as well as individual awards, as voted on by the Head Coaches in the conference, Thursday evening.
Kylie Emanuele as a utility player, and outfielder
Courtlynn Cooney were named to the first team All-Conference. First baseman
Cana Shrock, pitcher
Mallory Ratcliff, and second baseman
Cassandra Lassiter, were selected to the second team All-Conference.
KYLIE EMANUELE
The Freshman made a splash in her first year at Mount Olive. Ranking repeatedly in the top ten in batting average in Conference Carolinas, including leading at the end of the regular season with a .465 mark. Emanuele also finished in the top five for hits, RBI, and on-base percentage.
COURTLYNN COONEY
Trailing only her teammate, Cooney finished the regular season with a .416 batting average. The speedy outfielder also swiped twelve bases and finished with 16 RBI.
CANA SHROCK
The first baseman finished with a solid .367 batting average. Shrock batted in her teammates 29 times while finishing with 4 homeruns.
MALLORY RATCLIFF
Ratcliff was the horse of the Trojans staff, throwing just under 100 innings. The Senior pitcher finished her regular season with a 12-5 record, striking out 85 batters.
CASSANDRA LASSITER
Lassiter finished the season with 36 hits to go along with her .360 batting average.
