MOUNT OLIVE, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team defeated Converse College 7-0 in Conference Carolinas action Friday afternoon at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center. The UMO women's tennis team comes in at No.9 in this weeks Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Rankings.

MATCH INFORMATION
The Trojans held the early lead after the doubles round winning all three doubles. UMO then swept the singles sets, taking home the 7-0 victory.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
No.2  Ingrid Montserrat/Deike Schipper made quick work of their opponents winning 6-2. No.3 Arianna Orozco/Bipasha Mehn and No.1 Liza Voloshyna/Nele Weber also won their match at 6-3 and 6-4 to help earn the doubles point. 

Deike Schipper won at No. 5 singles (6-1, 6-0) for the first singles point. Ece Yuksel won at N0. 3 over NGU's Taylor Parrott in two sets (6-0,6-2). Bipasha Mehn took down No. 6 (6-3,6-0) for the third singles point. Ingrid Montserrat won at No .2 singles (6-3,6-3) for the fourth singles point. Lastly No. 1 Liza Voloshyna and No. 4 Arianna Orozco defeated their singles matches (6-3,4-6,1-0) and (1-6,6-3,1-0) to secure the last two singles points.
