WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team fell to the University of UNC Wilmington 7-0 Friday afternoon in Wilmington, N.C.
MATCH INFORMATION
The Seahawks led the doubles round winning doubles 1, 2 and 3. The Seahawks then swept the singles matches with taking a 7-0 victory.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
Mount Olive's Gregory Normand in the No. 4 singles match fought hard but fell (1-6,4-6) for the first singles point. Victor Nunez then fell in the No. 5 singles match (1-6,4-6) for the second singles point. Diego Ortega Cadahia also battled the Seahawks closely but fell short in No. 6 singles (4-6,0-6) for the third singles point. Adam Ibrahim in No. 2 fell to the Seahawks (1-6, 0-6). Lastly, Armando Ferreira No.1 and Israel Rodriguez Rojas in No. 3 both fell to the Seahawks (2-6,0-6) and (2-6, 0-6) in the last two singles points.
