FLORENCE, South Carolina - The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team defeated Francis Marion University 6-1 Friday afternoon in non-conference action in Florence, SC.
MATCH INFORMATION
The Trojans led the doubles round winning doubles 1 and 3 to earn the doubles point. UMO then went 5-1 in the singles matches taking a 6-1 victory.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
Armando Ferreira in the No.1 singles match fought hard and took the win (6-3,6-2) for the first singles point. Guilherme Zotin De Oliveira then took out the No. 2 singles match (7-5,7-5) for the second singles point. Adam Ibrahim also battled Francis Marion and got the win at No. 3 singles (6-3,6-1) for the third singles point. Israel Rodriguez Rojas defeated the No. 4 singles match (6-1,7-5) in the for the fourth singles point. Lastly, Diego Ortega Cadahia gave the Trojans the final singles point winning (6-0,6-1).
