MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Trojans were back in action at home against William Peace University on Tuesday afternoon. The Trojans would sweep their second consecutive series.
GAME ONE INFORMATION
Game one got underway with
Hailey Kessinger in the cirlce for the Trojans. Kessinger sat down the Pacers first three hitters heading into the bottom of the first inning. The Trojans got their offense started early with a double steal.
Madison Morgan stole second while
Emma Mooney stole home, giving the Trojans a 1-0 lead.
Kylie Emanuele tripled to right field, scoring Morgan. Both pitchers kept the lineups at bay in the second inning. In the third inning
Kylie Emanuele added another RBI, scoring Emma Cooney, extending their lead to 3-0. Speed on the base paths is great to have, and the Trojans had it today. Home plate was stolen again, this time by Madson Morgan making the UMO advantage four.
Cana Shrock then grounded out to short, scoring
Cassandra Lassiter, giving the Trojans a 5-0 lead. The Trojans put the game away in the bottom of the fifth inning scoring three runs.
Cana Shrock walked in a run, followed by
Ashley Mick collecting a free base of her own, extending the lead to 7-0. A passed ball would end the game for the Pacers as Emanuele scored, making it 8-0 and ending the game with a Trojans win.

Lauren Conway got a hit during game one.
KEY MOMENT
The key moment came in the third inning when the Trojans scored three runs, putting the game out of reach at 5-0.
GAME TWO INFORMATION
Mallory Ratcliff got the ball in game two. The Pacers got two on base but Ratcliff left them stranded. The scoring got underway in the bottom half of the first inning.
Emma Mooney scored on a passed ball followed by two more runs, with the last one coming courtesy of a single off the bat of
Cana Shrock, scoring
Kylie Emanuele. In the bottom of the second inning
Emma Mooney and
Courtlynn Cooney each hit home a run, extending the Trojans lead to 5-0. Emma Cooney then bunted in a run in the fourth inning extending the lead. Later in the inning
Hannah Killough came to the plate with the bases loaded and delivered with a homerun, busting the game wide open. The Trojans would add one more run in the inning, ultimately winning 11-0 in five innings.

The key moment was in the bottom of the fourth inning when
Hannah Killough hit a grandslam, extending the Trojans lead to 10-0 at the time.
