MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --- The University of Mount Olive will host the 56th Annual Mt. Olive Pickle Classic at Kornegay Arena this weekend Nov. 19-20. The Pickle Classic still remains as one of the oldest basketball events in the nation.
Â
The Trojans welcome Barton College, Saint Augustine's and Virginia State back for the Pickle Classic in person, after the 2020 classic was held virtually. In 2019 UMO went 1-1 in the classic falling to Virginia State (99-84) on day one and defeating Concord University (104-91) in day two. Mount Olive comes into the classic 0-2 on the season falling twice in the Barton 45-Second Classic to Augusta University (83-65) and Columbus State University (88-67).
All games can be watched online as well on the
Trojan Sports Network (TSN) and
live stats are available.
